Bump Caps – BLACK

Description

Dromex Bump Cap – Black

The Dromex Industrial Bump Cap in Black is a lightweight head protection solution designed for environments where the risk of falling objects is low, but the danger of “bumping” into fixed structures, low ceilings, or sharp corners is high. Combining the comfort and aesthetic of a standard baseball cap with a concealed high-density polyethylene (HDPE) inner shell, this cap provides essential protection without the bulk of a full-scale hard hat. The black fabric is chosen for its ability to hide grease and industrial grime, maintaining a professional appearance in mechanical and logistical settings.

Technical Specifications:

• Outer Material: 100% Cotton or Polyester-Cotton blend for maximum breathability
• Inner Shell: Removable, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) protective insert
• Impact Protection: Integrated foam padding on the interior of the shell to dissipate energy upon contact
• Ventilation: Large side mesh panels and eyelets to promote airflow and prevent heat buildup
• Adjustment: Adjustable Velcro or buckle strap for a secure, one-size-fits-all profile (54cm – 59cm)
• Brim Length: Available in standard (70mm) or micro-brim (25mm) for enhanced upward visibility
• Color: Industrial Black (Grease and dirt-resistant)

Compliance & Standards:

• EN 812:2012: Certified to European standards for Industrial Bump Caps.
• Note: Not designed to protect against falling objects or for use in “Hard Hat Required” zones.
• CE Approved: Meets essential safety and health requirements for industrial head protection.

Ideal Application: Automotive assembly lines, aviation maintenance, DIY home improvement, warehouse picking, and plumbing or electrical work in tight spaces.
